So ask away 🙂

    1. Hey sweetheart, I know this question is on ALL of your minds. I can not tell you anything officially until after the board meeting tomorrow afternoon. I do know that everyone is thinking about how any decisions will affect all of the skaters and they are taking everything into consideration. I will let you all know what is decided AS SOON as I know. Right now, we want everyone staying home and staying healthy.
I will let you all know tomorrow though and if you guys want, we can have a Zoom meeting once I know. Would that be better for you all?

      1. Is ice being maintained in Mississauga at any of the rinks? If there is a partial summer of skating how would we sign up?

        1. As far as I know, Ice is being kept in at all the arena’s. I have been told that if we do have spring or summer ice, we will be at Iceland instead of Erin Mills. however, registration is not available until we know for sure that we are able to go back to skating. There is information on the Club’s website: portcreditfsc.ca
It costs the club money to issue refunds, so in order to avoid all the work involved in issuing refunds, we are waiting to see what happens. Everything is basically on a day by day basis currently. If I receive any new information, I will let you all know immediately.

        2. Carnival Update:
So ladies and gentleman, the update on carnival is here. It is with a heavy but understanding heart that Carnival is being postponed until next year. It is NOT being cancelled. We will move ahead with the same theme although some things may need to change a little bit. Hopefully any of our graduating students will be able to return and take part in Carnival.
The club will be sending information regarding refunds/credits for Carnival, you should receive an official email tonight or tomorrow.
I am so sorry this give you this news guys, but with the arena’s not opening, there is simply not enough time to choreograph numbers and have the show up to standards, for both you (the skaters), the coaches, the parents … it is just far too much work with very little time, and that is ASSUMING we are back mid April (only stating mid April as that is when the arena is currently closed to the public until). I would assume that we will not be back to skating before school resumes.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this or if you would like to do a zoom call to chat about it. I have no problem doing calls with you guys about this.
HUGS to you all! Don’t worry, it will happen, just not yet

          1. Sad, looking forward carnival cancelled. Hopefully go back to ice soon. Kids so bored stay home.
